The Orleans Recreation Department has partnered with the USTA New England to offer YOUTH Tennis in the Parks at the OES courts.
This program is led by a USTA-approved tennis coach and is designed to teach players how to play tennis using modified balls, age-appropriate rackets, and court sizes. It offers engaging activities to make learning fun and successful.
Additionally, only new players (who did not attend the Summer Rec tennis with USTA) will receive an age-appropriate racket to take home in their first session.
3pm - 4pm - Grades 6-8 -- 9/16, 9/30, 10/7, 10/21, 10/28, 11/04
4pm - 5pm - Grades 3-5 -- 9/16, 9/30, 10/7, 10/21, 10/28, 11/04
*excluding September 23*
Registration Fee: $35R/$65NR for six (6) classes (1 per week)
Max Participants: 10 per session for each program
Where: Orleans Elementary School Courts
Participants must wear sneakers and sunblock and bring a labeled water bottle.
