Lower Cape Recreational Soccer League is a travel league, and participants will have the opportunity to play against same-age children in nearby towns within the league. They will have one team practice on a weekday and play games on Saturday mornings against a team from a local recreational program. The purpose is to learn the game of soccer, compete, and have fun with students of similar age and skill levels.
Practices will tentatively begin the week of September 14, and games will start on or before September 26. Once coaches have determined practice days and times, they will notify families.
WHO: Children in Grades 3 & 4 and 5 & 6
WHEN: One weeknight practice + games on Saturday mornings. The schedules will be released when they are finalized.
WHERE: Practices and home games will be held at OES Fields. Away games will be played in one of the nearby towns within our Lower Cape League.
REGISTRATION FEE: $30 per resident/per child
Orleans Recreation offers a $15 sibling discount at checkout for up to the 4th child registered in the same program under the same household account.
We are actively seeking passionate volunteer coaches to join our team. If you are interested, please contact the Orleans Recreation, Culture & Community Events Department before registering your child/children.
WHAT TO BRING: Participants will need cleats, shin guards, and water for practice and games. Sandals, flip-flops, and Crocs are not allowed.
