Orleans Recreation is collaborating with AC Independence to provide two youth clinics for children in Pre-K (ages 1-4) and Grades K-2.
The Youth Instructional Soccer program provides a fun introduction to the sport. Participants will learn the fundamentals of soccer on Saturday mornings. Fall Youth Instructional Soccer - 2025 Youth Instructional Soccer for Grades K-2
Orleans Recreation is collaborating with AC Independence to provide two youth clinics for children in Pre-K (ages 1-4) and Grades K-2.
The Youth Instructional Soccer program provides a fun introduction to the sport. Participants will learn the fundamentals of soccer on Saturday mornings. The focus of this program is on having fun, learning more about the game, and developing essential skills.This programs will run on Saturday mornings - 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/18, 10/25 (*excluding October 11) WHO: Children in Pre-K in ages 1-2 (mommy-and-me model) and 3-4 years old -- 8:00 am - 8:45 amWHO: Children in grades K-2 - 9:00 am - 10:00 amREGISTRATION FEE: $30R/$45NR/per child/ per programWHERE: Both clinics will be held at the Orleans Elementary Soccer Fields (CLICK HERE for directions)WHAT TO BRING: All participants must bring a water bottle and wear appropriate athletic shoes and attire for this activity. Sandals, flip-flops, and Crocs are not allowed. The Orleans Recreation Department offers Fall Adult Tennis on Saturdays, with Brendan Guttmann, from September 13 to October 18.Who: Adults 18 & up Location: Orleans Elementary School Tennis Courts - 46 Eldredge Park Way When: Saturday Mornings - 10:30 am - 12:00 pm. Fall Youth Tennis in the Parks with USTA - (Grades 3-8) - Fall Youth Tennis in the Parks with USTA - Grades (6 - 8)
The Orleans Recreation Department has partnered with the USTA New England to offer YOUTH Tennis in the Parks at the OES courts.This program is led by a USTA-approved tennis coach and is designed to teach players how to play tennis using modified balls, age-appropriate rackets, and court sizes. It offers engaging activities to make learning fun and successful. Additionally, only new players (who did not attend the Summer Rec tennis with USTA) will receive an age-appropriate racket to take home in their first session.3pm - 4pm - Grades 6-8 -- 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/214pm - 5pm - Grades 3-5 -- 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21Registration Fee: $30R/$60NR for six (6) classes (1 per week)Max Participants: 10 per session for each program Where: Orleans Elementary School CourtsParticipants must wear sneakers and sunblock and bring a labeled water bottle.If you or a household member require modifications and /or accommodations to register or participate in this program, please get in touch with the Orleans Recreation Department directly at 508-240-3700 ext 2333.
