The Orleans Recreation Department has partnered with the USTA New England to offer YOUTH Tennis in the Parks at the OES courts.This program is led by a USTA-approved tennis coach and is designed to teach players how to play tennis using modified balls, age-appropriate rackets, and court sizes. It offers engaging activities to make learning fun and successful. Additionally, only the new players attending their first session will receive an age-appropriate racket and ball to take home.Sessions 1 and 2 will be held on Monday and Wednesday mornings. Each session is three weeks long and includes six (6) classes. Summer Youth Tennis in the Parks with USTA - (Grades 2-8) - Summer Youth Tennis in the Parks with USTA - Session II: July 20th - August 5th, Grades (2 - 5)
Join us for summer fun with Tennis! The Orleans Recreation Department has partnered with the USTA New England to offer YOUTH Tennis in the Parks at the OES courts.This program is led by a USTA-approved tennis coach and is designed to teach players how to play tennis using modified balls, age-appropriate rackets, and court sizes. It offers engaging activities to make learning fun and successful. Additionally, only the new players attending their first session will receive an age-appropriate racket and ball to take home.Sessions 1 and 2 will be held on Monday and Wednesday mornings. Each session is three weeks long and includes six (6) classes. Session 1: June 29 - July 15 (M/W)Session 2: July 20 - August 5 (M/W)9:00 am - 10:00 am - Grades (2 - 5)10:15 am -11:15 am - Grades (6 - 9)Registration Fee: $45R/$75NR for six (6) classesMax Participants: 12 per session for each program Where: Orleans Elementary School CourtsPlease note registrations will not be accepted on a daily or weekly pro-rated basis.
