RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE PICKLEBALL COURTS ELDREDGE PARK- ORLEANS
These rules and regulations exist for the purpose of maintaining the pickleball courts and providing an opportunity for all to use them. Each participant is asked to cooperate and to assist in enforcing them.
Use of the pickleball courts shall be subject to control by the Orleans Recreation Department.
- Year-Round, courts are reserved from 8am – 11am for Orleans Recreation Pickleball Round Robin.
- Recreation Department Pickleball Programs will take precedence over open play. The Recreation
- The department may offer instructional clinics, classes, tournaments, league pickleball, and special events.
- A single player waiting for the arrival of their party may not hold a court (if there are other players waiting to use the court).
- Play is limited to one hour only if others are waiting to play.
- No private Pickleball instructions may be given at any time.
- All players are always expected and required to wear proper attire and sneakers. Street shoes and sandals are not allowed. Be aware that the court surface may be slippery.
- No bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, rollerblades, skates, scooters, baby carriages, baby strollers or pets are allowed.
- The courts shall only be used for the playing of pickleball.
- Sitting or leaning on the nets is damaging to the nets and net straps and is strictly prohibited.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in and around the Orleans Pickleball Courts.
- There are no lights at this facility.
- The Town of Orleans assumes no liability for injuries to persons who are on Town Premises for damage to any equipment or property.
- NOTE: No reservation or fee is required to utilize the courts during open play hours
