She will help you break down the elements of the face into its basic shapes and proportions so you are able to capture an accurate likeness of your subject. You will also explore the theories behind mixing colors to create realistic and lifelike tones and shades for skin, hair, eyes, and shadows. You will have a chance to practice drawing a portrait with graphite, colored pencils, and acrylic paint. She will help you break down the elements of the face into its basic shapes and proportions so you are able to capture an accurate likeness of your subject. The class then learns the dunce's basic moves, including hip isolation, chest isolation, shimmies, and footwork. The last portion of the class is dedicated to a piece of choreography. The instructor will break it down into easy-to-learn sections that will be fun and exciting for all levels of experience. Coin belts are provided.About the instructor:Kayleen has been studying Egyptian belly dancing for over 10 years. What started as a class credit soon developed into a passion. Youth Strength Training with Brian Lavery (Grades 5-8) - Introduction to Weightlifting - Grades 5-8 Youth Strength Training with NRMS's Gym Teacher, Brian Lavery This strength training class is tailored explicitly for 5th to 8th-grade students, welcoming all skill levels. Participants will experience a dynamic blend of strength and high-intensity interval training (HIIT), finishing each session with fun and engaging games.
